To Our Valued Clients,

Welcome back to The Bruce Overnight Edge.

Last week, we said the market was poised for a market-moving event. This week, that event arrived, and its impact shattered expectations.

The return of South Korean traders on Monday night immediately triggered the largest, most active overnight trading sessions on record.

The Volume1 Explosion

The market didn’t just break records; it set a completely new standard for overnight volume.

  • Monday: The first session with Korean flow saw 118M+ shares trade, setting a new all-time high for an overnight session.

  • Tuesday: That new record lasted just 24 hours. The Tuesday night session eclipsed it by an incredible 36%, pushing the new single-session record to over 161M shares.

The Price Plummets (As Predicted)

This tidal wave of new volume confirmed our primary thesis from last week. As we noted, the 2025 year-to-date average trade price was $54. The return of Korean retail has driven the average price down to $32.

This is more than a temporary spike. It signals a fundamental shift and the beginning of a new, high-volume era for the overnight market. We are monitoring this new structure closely and look forward to this continued growth.

We’ll have more data on this new environment for you next week.
